We are writing to give you a full update on our site and recent developments in the area that affect your investment in a positive way.

 We had previously advised you of a site some 600 metres to the north of our site.

 Last year an application was made for planning on a site off Lodge Lane.

 This was refused on 30.11.21 and notified on 25.4.22.

On 8th March 2023 Planning permission was granted. This followed a public inquiry and site visits in December 2022.

 

How does this affect us

We would maintain that all the objections we will face in our application were covered in the other application such as:

  1. Greenbelt – this site was in a designated Greenbelt area but planning was still approved
  2. Local Objection – we will not expect any local objections as our site is not bordered by any housing.

 

What’s Next

We are now liaising with our external planners to formulate our strategy and to commence our initial planning application.

As you will see from the timeline, things do not happen overnight.

 We see the decision on the other site as extremely positive news.

 We will expect to update again in 8-10 weeks.
